IIE Hawaii is very proud and excited to announce that we have just been approved for a 10 year reaccreditation by CEA (The Commission on English Language Program Accreditation)! The school’s accreditation is now extended until August 2034.

Recognized by the U.S. Secretary of Education, CEA’s mission is “to protect the interests of students and promote excellence in the field of English language teaching and administration through accreditation of English language programs and institutions worldwide.”

The 10 year reaccreditation was the successful outcome of a long, rigorous process of self-assessment and peer evaluation, including a 3 day visit to the school by a CEA team of reviewers in April 2024. It is a testament to IIE’s continued committment to excellence and aloha in all areas of academics and educational services.

A big thanks to IIE staff, faculty, students, and everyone else who played a part in this process. It truly was a team effort.
